I am a Naturopathic Doctor, Iridologist, Master Herbalist and currently working towards my phD in integrative medicine. I offer an iridology evaluation prior to recommending a non-invasive method of treatment to establish a health protocol which may include medicinal herbs. The evaluation is a critical component whose aim is to remove the source of the disease and facilitate healing in a non-invasive, non-toxic manner. Evaluating a person's condition requires in-depth knowledge of biochemistry, chemistry, biology, physiology, anatomy, psychology, and all other systems which comprise the totality of who we are.
What is a Doctor of Naturopathy?
A Naturopath favors non-invasive forms of evaluation & care while upholding that all aspects of people’s needs, physical, psychological, social, & spiritual should be taken into account.
My profession is scripturally based, natural & focused on healing. In God’s creation, humanity was provided medicine for the body in the form of right nutrition, thus I believe that the body has unlimited innate powers to heal itself,
The tenet of naturopathic practice is self-described by six core values, that exist in the form of the naturopathic doctor’s oath:
1. First, do no harm.
2. Recognize, respect and promote the self-healing power of nature inherent in each individual human being.
3. Identify and remove the causes of illness, rather than eliminate or suppress symptoms.
4. Educate, inspire rational hope and encourage self-responsibility for health.
5. Treat each person by considering all individual health factors and influences.
6. Promote well-being to prevent diseases for the individual, each community and our world.
Our Father “has blessed mankind with all things natural, whether for food, medicine, counsel or prayer”. He has “placed His mark upon us, that we shall be His Workers.”
My Doctor of Naturopathy degree as well as various other natural health certifications were acquired from the Trinity School of Natural Health. It is my goal to continue to seek ways to bring healing to people while meeting the criteria of “above all things, first do no harm”, for this is how God intended.
Prior to becoming a Naturopathic Doctor I was a clinical administrator and consultant. During my career as a clinical administrator, I was diagnosed with diabetes and discovered that western medicine as a whole could not heal this condition. This prompted me to find a way to provide healing not just for me but for everyone. My dreams of going to college were made possible by enlisting in the U.S. Army and after a full career I retired in Fort Knox, Kentucky.
After serving my country, I continued my education by attending Western Kentucky University, where I attained a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a minor in International Business. I immediately returned to attain an M.B.A. and a Leadership Certificate.
Credentials: B.C.N.D. (Board Certified Doctor of Naturopathics by The American Naturopathic Medical Certification Board), Member of The Pastoral Medical Association, C.N.H.P. (Certified Natural Health Professional), M.B.A. (Master of Business Administration - WKU).
